Get a Major Credit Card with a Very a Bad Credit Rating

For whatever reason, you need to score a credit card and your credit rating sucks big time.  I got it.  Well, you could start looking around to try and find a banker lender crazy enough to ignore your credit rating.  Of course, if your bad credit rating is as bad as you say it is, most major credit card companies like Visa or MasterCard are going to look at that rating score and consider it even more harshly.

Thing is, just because finding something may be difficult present mean that it's impossible.  All it means is that it's going to take a lot of work to find a major credit card company willing to issue you additional credit.  That's not to say that they can't be found, however. 

When I was much younger I was looking for a construction loan and had no credit, no credit rating, and little experience in the home construction business.  I literally went to 51 different lenders both locally and statewide only to hear the same negatives and rejection.  On the 52nd try however, I got my loan!

See, all you need is persistence to find that one lender that's looking for business and is willing to take a chance on someone with less than a perfect credit score.  Believe it or not, there are many lenders that don't place as much importance on a credit rating from TransUnion, Experian or Equifax.

So while you could go around to the various financial institutions yourself, make an application, and then wait to see if they are accepting applications from people with bad credit scores, this isn't a very efficient way to get what you're looking for.  Remember though if it's finding a credit card or a very bad credit personal loan, the key is not to give up the search.
